General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) — Valiplia

Valiplia General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Last updated: November 6, 2026

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the distance sales of tangible goods offered by Valiplia. Several pieces of information still need to be completed or verified: the first and last name of the sole trader, the consumer mediator, the return address, and the actual availability of the online withdrawal feature.

General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) — Valiplia

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the distance sale of travel storage and organization items offered under the Valiplia brand. They are drafted in accordance with the French rules applicable as of November 6, 2026, in particular the Consumer Code and the Civil Code.

The mandatory consumer rights recognized by law prevail over any provision to the contrary. The return policy and delivery information displayed before placing the order supplement these GTC without restricting legal rights.

Person indicated as responsible for personal data: Selim Ammari.

For a pre-purchase question, a complaint, a withdrawal of consent, or a request for legal warranty, the consumer may use the contact details above. The sole trader's first and last name still need to be confirmed to precisely identify the contracting person; the Valiplia trading name does not replace this identification.

Article 2 — Purpose, Scope, and Recipients

The GTC apply to purchases of tangible goods offered on the Valiplia website and concluded remotely with customers acting as consumers within the meaning of the Consumer Code. They apply in the version provided before the order is confirmed. Situations covered by specific mandatory provisions shall prevail.

Sales to professionals for their business needs may require separate contractual terms. These provisions do not deprive a buyer of the protections legally applicable to them, in particular in the cases provided for by Article L. 221-3 of the Consumer Code.

Article 3 — Product Description and Characteristics

Products include, among others, depending on the available catalog, manual compression bags without a pump, suitcase organizers and storage cubes, as well as shoe covers and storage pouches. For each reference, the product page indicates the essential characteristics available: designation, stated composition, dimensions, packaging, quantity, variants, and terms of use.

The customer is invited to view all variants and dimensions, expressed in centimeters where relevant, before ordering. The compression effect, where it exists, depends in particular on the textiles placed in the bag, the model used, and compliance with its instructions; no uniform or guaranteed space savings are promised unless explicitly stated on the product page. Compression does not reduce the weight of the luggage.

Photographs are used to present the items. They do not replace essential information. In the event of a difference between the announced contractual characteristics and the delivered good, the consumer retains all rights derived from the legal guarantee of conformity.

Article 4 — Product Availability

Offers are available subject to available stock and the availability information provided at the time of ordering. Any stock error or unavailability after ordering will be reported to the customer as soon as possible; no substitution with a different product can be imposed without their agreement. If the agreed delivery cannot be ensured and the contract is rescinded in accordance with the law, the amounts paid will be refunded according to the applicable rules.

Valiplia may change its catalog in the future. These changes do not affect orders already validly concluded.

Article 5 — Prices, Taxes, Fees, and Promotions

The binding price is the one displayed in euros at the time the order is confirmed, all taxes included where applicable. Prices may vary depending on the size, color, set, or variant chosen. Delivery fees, any additional fees, and the total amount payable are communicated clearly before order confirmation; no additional charges may be added without the customer's express agreement.

Discounts and promotional codes only apply during their validity periods and according to the conditions expressly indicated for each offer (eligibility, products covered, and potential combination). A discount cannot be paid in cash. When a refund is due, it covers the price actually paid, without depriving the customer of their legal rights.

The delivery destinations and corresponding fees are those offered at checkout. Where customs clearance fees or import taxes may legally be borne by the customer for a delivery offered outside the relevant customs territory, their existence and, if possible, their calculation method must be announced before ordering; they cannot be presented as non-existent without verification.

Article 6 — Ordering Process and Contract Conclusion

The customer selects the products and their variants, provides the information necessary for delivery, and selects an offered payment method. Before final confirmation, they must be able to check the details of their order, its total price, and correct any errors. Confirmation occurs by clicking a button that unambiguously identifies the payment obligation.

These GTC are brought to the customer's attention before ordering and may be viewed and kept. An order confirmation and contractual information are provided on a durable medium, notably by email. The customer must provide accurate contact details; they may report an error as soon as possible.

An order cannot be arbitrarily refused or canceled after it has been concluded. The seller may carry out reasonably necessary verifications in the event of an objective anomaly or documented suspicion of fraud, while respecting the customer's rights and applicable refund rules.

Article 7 — Payment and Security

The accepted payment methods are only those offered and identified at the time of ordering. The total amount is confirmed before payment. When payment processing is provided by a service provider, its technical security conditions apply. Valiplia never asks the customer to transmit their secret codes or complete banking details by email.

In the event of a payment failure, the customer may be invited to choose another available payment method. No delivery is required before the agreed payment obligations are fulfilled, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions of consumer law.

Article 8 — Deliveries: Zones, Fees, and Deadlines

Delivery is offered only to the zones effectively accessible at checkout. The transport choices, their costs, and the delivery deadline or date to which the seller commits must be indicated before order confirmation, and then included in the contractual information. Any purely indicative deadline cannot override the seller's legal obligations.

The seller delivers on the date or within the deadline agreed with the consumer. In the absence of a communicated date or deadline, the law requires delivery without unjustified delay and no later than thirty days after the conclusion of the contract, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

The customer is invited to check their address. If a change is necessary, they can write to customer service as soon as possible; a change cannot be guaranteed once shipping has commenced. The seller's liability toward the consumer remains governed by legal provisions.

Article 9 — Delivery Delay, Lost Package, and Non-Performance

In the event of a delay relative to the agreed date or deadline, the consumer has the rights provided for in Articles L. 216-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code: they may, in particular, formally demand that the seller carry out the delivery within an additional reasonable period and then, if it does not occur, rescind the contract under the legal conditions. In the situations provided for by law, rescission may be immediate, for example when compliance with the delivery date constituted an essential condition expressed before the conclusion of the contract.

In the event of contract rescission due to non-delivery, the refund will occur within the applicable legal deadline. If the package is reported as delivered but has not been received, the customer must contact Valiplia: it is up to the seller, when the carrier was proposed by them, to prove delivery and bear the risks under the conditions provided for by law.

Article 10 — Receipt, Risks, and Retention of Title

When the consumer uses a carrier proposed by the seller, the risks of loss or damage are transferred to them at the moment they physically take possession of the good, or when a third party they have designated takes possession. In the event of a carrier chosen independently by the consumer and not proposed by the seller, the specific rules of the Consumer Code apply.

The customer can quickly report a damaged, missing, or non-compliant item, attaching a description and photographs if possible. The absence of reservations with the carrier or the expiration of a commercial complaint deadline cannot, on its own, remove the consumer's legal guarantees.

Subject to applicable mandatory rules, ownership of the goods remains with the seller until full payment of the agreed price, without altering the legal rules relating to the transfer of risks.

Article 11 — Legal Right of Withdrawal: Deadline and Exercise

For goods covered by the right of withdrawal, the consumer has fourteen calendar days to withdraw without having to justify their decision. For a sale of goods, this period generally begins the day after the consumer, or a third party they have designated other than the carrier, receives the good. For an order involving several goods delivered separately, the starting point may be the receipt of the last good, batch, or item, according to the rules of Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code.

To exercise this right before the deadline expires, the customer can send an unambiguous declaration to contact@valiplia.fr, or use the standard form reproduced at the end of the GTC. It is advisable to indicate the order number and the products concerned; however, the absence of a number cannot, on its own, result in the loss of the right of withdrawal when the sale can be identified.

Withdrawal directly online (rule applicable since June 19, 2026): for contracts concluded on an online sales interface, a free, clearly visible, and accessible feature during the withdrawal period must allow the online submission of the request and its confirmation. [TO BE FINALIZED BEFORE PUBLICATION: install and verify this feature on Valiplia, then add its address and the actual acknowledgment of receipt procedure on a durable medium here.] A simple contact form or the sending of an email must not be presented as a sufficient substitute for this mandatory feature.

Article 12 — Return of Goods and Return Fees in the Event of Withdrawal

After notifying their withdrawal, the consumer returns the goods without excessive delay and no later than fourteen days after communicating their decision, unless the seller offers to collect them. The direct return costs are borne by the consumer when this information was communicated to them before the conclusion of the contract, unless the seller makes a contrary commitment. Returns made under legal guarantees follow distinct rules and cannot be charged to the consumer when the law provides for them to be free.

Items must be packaged to prevent their deterioration during transport. The consumer may inspect and handle the items as they reasonably would in a store to determine their nature, characteristics, and proper functioning. They are only responsible for depreciation resulting from handling exceeding what is necessary, when the legal information was properly provided to them. Opening the packaging does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal.

Return address: [TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE PUBLICATION: operational postal address for receiving returns]. Customer service will communicate the practical terms of the return; it cannot impose a procedure that would hinder the exercise of a legal right.

Article 13 — Refund After Withdrawal

When the consumer validly exercises their right of withdrawal, the seller refunds the amounts paid for the goods concerned as well as the initial delivery fees corresponding to the least expensive standard delivery method offered for those goods. The additional fees resulting from the express choice of more expensive delivery than standard delivery are not refundable under the withdrawal, within the limits provided by law.

The refund is carried out without unjustified delay, and no later than fourteen days after the seller has been informed of the withdrawal. For the sale of goods, the seller may, unless they offer to collect them, defer the refund until their receipt or until the provision of proof of their shipment, whichever occurs first. The refund is carried out using the same payment method that was initially used, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method that incurs no cost to them.

Article 14 — Legal Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The exclusions from the right of withdrawal are strictly those provided for by Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code and are only applied when they actually correspond to the product sold and the conditions of the law. This may notably include, depending on the circumstances, goods made to the consumer's specifications or significantly personalized, and goods unsealed after delivery that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.

Compression bags, suitcase organizers, and ordinary shoe covers sold by Valiplia are not excluded from the right of withdrawal solely by virtue of their category. Any exception applicable to a particular item must be explained before purchase and based on an actual legal situation.

Article 15 — Mandatory Legal Guarantees

INFORMATION BOX ON LEGAL GUARANTEES — Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code, Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code, Article D. 211-2 and its annex.

Legal guarantee of conformity. For a new tangible good, the consumer may take action against the seller when a lack of conformity occurs within two years following delivery. During this period, the consumer must establish the existence of the defect, and not the date on which it appeared, in accordance with the applicable legal rules of evidence.

Bringing the good into conformity gives, according to legal conditions, the right to repair or replacement, free of charge and without major inconvenience, within a maximum period of thirty days following the request. A repair carried out under this guarantee extends the original guarantee by six months. When the requested repair is replaced by a replacement imposed by the seller under the conditions provided for by law, a new two-year guarantee period runs from the replacement.

If bringing the good into conformity is refused, impossible, late, insufficient, or causes a major inconvenience in the cases provided for by law, the customer may request a price reduction or the rescission of the contract. These solutions may also be opened immediately for a sufficiently serious defect. Contract rescission is not due when the lack of conformity is minor. The duration of the good's immobilization for repair or replacement suspends the course of the guarantee under the conditions provided for by law.

Guarantee against hidden defects. The consumer may also take action for a hidden defect rendering the good unfit for its purpose or substantially diminishing its use, according to Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code. The action must, in principle, be exercised within two years following the discovery of the defect. According to legal conditions, the customer may keep the good and obtain a price reduction, or return the good and request a refund of the price.

These guarantees are due by the seller regardless of any optional commercial guarantee. Their exercise cannot be conditioned on the acceptance of fees not provided for by law nor on the absence of opening the packaging.

Legal guarantees apply without prejudice to any other statutory consumer rights. The rules specific to goods with digital elements would apply if such products were subsequently offered; they are not presumed to apply to ordinary travel accessories in the current catalog.

Article 16 — After-sales service and any commercial warranties

Requests relating to the use of a product, alleged defects, and after-sales service should be sent to the contact details provided in Article 1. If an optional commercial warranty is offered for an item, its existence, duration, guarantor, geographical scope, and terms and conditions will be provided in a specific document, without prejudice to legal guarantees. No additional commercial warranty is included by default in these General Terms and Conditions.

Article 17 — Complaints, dispute resolution, and mediation

For any complaint, the consumer may send a detailed request to contact@valiplia.fr or by post to the address provided in Article 1, specifying their order number where possible. Valiplia will seek an amicable solution and respond within a reasonable timeframe, without prejudice to the exercise of statutory rights.

In accordance with Articles L. 612-1 and L. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer may free of charge refer the matter to a consumer mediator listed and officially designated by the trader, particularly after a prior written complaint has remained unresolved.  No mediator may be designated without a valid membership or agreement actually in force.

Article 18 — Liability and exceptional circumstances

The seller remains bound by its legal obligations, particularly regarding conformity, delivery, information, and refunds. A circumstance constituting force majeure under French law may have the effects provided for by the applicable laws; it does not automatically waive all consumer rights. No provision of these General Terms and Conditions limits or excludes the seller's liability in cases where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

The customer must use the items in accordance with their intended purpose and any safety or maintenance instructions. This obligation does not affect legal guarantees in the event of a product defect.

Article 19 — Personal data and communications

Data necessary for order management, payments, delivery, and after-sales service is processed in accordance with applicable personal data protection rules. Specific information on the purposes, recipients, retention periods, rights, and contact details of the data controller must be provided in a separate privacy policy. Acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions alone does not constitute consent to receive commercial communications when separate consent is required.

The data controller designated by the merchant is Selim Ammari; to exercise any rights relating to their data, the customer may write to contact@valiplia.fr.

Article 20 — Evidence, contract retention, and ongoing contact

Contractual elements must be retained or reproduced by the consumer. The order confirmation, emails, and proof of payment may help establish the transactions carried out, in compliance with statutory rules of evidence. Where the law requires the archiving of and access to the electronic contract, these obligations are met in accordance with the applicable thresholds, timeframes, and procedures. The customer may request a copy of the contractual elements whose disclosure is required by law.

Article 21 — Applicable law and jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions and the sales governed by them are subject to French law. This provision does not deprive a consumer residing in another country of the mandatory protections they may benefit from under the applicable rules. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the territorially and materially competent jurisdiction is determined in accordance with applicable statutory rules. No exclusive jurisdiction clause in favor of the court where the seller is headquartered is imposed on the consumer.

Article 22 — Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions, partial nullity

The seller may amend these General Terms and Conditions for future orders, particularly to reflect changes in law or business practices. The version applicable to an order is the one made available to the customer before they confirm it, subject to mandatory rules. If a provision is declared inapplicable or unfair, the other provisions remain applicable to the extent permitted by law; the mandatory provision replaces the set-aside provision.

Appendix — Withdrawal form template

This template may be used to declare withdrawal when the right of withdrawal applies; its use is not mandatory. The customer may also draft an unambiguous request. To meet the deadline, the request must be sent before it expires.
